FTHR is my dream to make packing better for all of us. Gear that's useful, lightweight, and a little bit quirky. Half practical, half party.

I learned a lot about organisation during my time in the army. At first, I was bad at packing. Space was always limited, so I quickly realised everything you carry needs a purpose, and you need to know exactly where it is when you need it.

That way of thinking stuck with me when I started travelling more.

But when I looked at travel gear, it always felt like there was a compromise. Some of it worked well but, to be honest, looked terrible. Other pieces looked slick but weren't built for heavy backpacking.

I wanted to create a middle ground between the cheaply made factory brands and the luxury luggage companies selling overpriced baggage organisers.

We also don’t think travel gear has to be boring. Function comes first, always, but there’s no reason it can’t have a bit of character. A bit of colour where it makes sense, and a bit of pizzazz where it works.

Our packing cubes are the first product, but they’re just the starting point. We’re building a small range of travel gear meant to be used properly, not just looked at. Things that get packed, unpacked, shoved back into a bag, and taken on real trips.
